Artist Statement:
Kristi Warriner is a native Middletonian who owns and operates Middleton's Community CoWorks. She has created countless graphic designs with computer programs, but when faced with 8000 square feet of blank walls at her coworking space, she decided to go from virtual to reality by putting real paint on real canvas. Encouraged by her daughters, she applied for the Art Walk and is really excited to have been accepted for her very first show.
Kristi is empty-nesting it in Middleton with her husband, Adam, dogs Pip and Shelby and chickens Buffy and Jody. Daughter Molly is a legal aide in Madison and Andy is attending college at the University of Minnesota. When not involved in a project with the Historical Society, helping to plan Good Neighbor Festival or just being an Optimist, she loves watching old movies on TCM, listening to long books on Audible while painting, and searching for the next hottest podcast.
